Ministry Core
I am a Unitarian Universalist minister and seeker who believes that humanity is simply one of the ways the universe is learning how to love itself. My ministry is rooted in the practice of radical softness—a commitment to moving through the world with an open heart, even (and especially) when things are difficult.
In my work, I strive to create spaces where pain and mourning are not sidelined but centered as sacred parts of our collective experience. I believe that by being present with one another in our most vulnerable moments, we earn the trust required to build truly transformative communities.
My Approach to Ministry
Radical Presence: I lead through "soft power"—a collaborative, team-oriented style that prioritizes earned trust and consistent presence over traditional hierarchy.
Theological Bridge-Building: Having grown up in a conservative environment and now living as an out queer person, I serve as a bridge between generations and backgrounds. I am equally at home discussing deep-rooted traditions as I am exploring new, inclusive ways of being.
Spirituality in the Real World: Whether it's through the quiet reflection of a service or the active engagement of community organizing, my goal is to help others find the sacred in the mundane and the strength in their own vulnerability.
